The Howard Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the local National Civics Bee on May 9 at Oakland Mills High School. The National Civics Bee is an annual competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. The essay competition is open to all students in grades 6 through 8. Students should complete the submission form and submit their 500-word essay by February 24.
