School Counselors deliver lessons throughout the year to help support students in their personal/social, academic and college and career development. School Counselors presented a lesson for all 6th grade students in early October during their Science class. Students learned about persevering through problems while maintaining positive relationships. Students also talked about common roadblocks to solving problems. Students focused on scenarios and what aspect of the problem was in their control to make the situation better. Students also defined the types of problems that require help from a trusted adult. Please talk to your child about what they learned. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s school counselor: Ms. Hoffman (last names A-L) or Ms. Nelson (last names M-Z).
