Greetings!

My name is Lindsay Beil and I am so excited to be the College and Career Readiness Advisor (CCRA) working with Glenelg High School and Glenwood Middle School! This is a homecoming for me, as I attended both Glenwood and Glenelg (2002 GHS graduate). I also got my start in education at Glenelg from 2008-2011 as the Testing Assistant, while I was working on my Master’s in School Counseling. I was also fortunate to complete my School Counseling internship at Glenwood during the 2010-2011 school year!  For the last 12 years, I was a School Counselor at Reservoir High School and served as the Student Services ITL this past school year.  

This is a new position created by HCPSS as part of the requirements of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, specifically preparing HCPSS graduates for success in college and the workforce by ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to complete entry-level credit-bearing college courses and work in high-wage and high-demand industries. Our role is to offer school and system wide programs, information sessions, classroom lessons, and support students and families in making informed decisions about student options and goals for after high school.
