The school based IEQ team identifies potential issues/concerns before they reach the level where occupants’ health and safety are at risk, provides an avenue of communication through which any concerned individual can report potential indoor environmental problems, and increases education and awareness of the importance of maintaining proper indoor environments.
The IEQ standardized walk-through reviews designated areas of the school. The walk-through team led by an IEQ School-based Team Leader is composed of a diverse representative group of HCPSS facilities personnel, school staff, parents, students and community members. The HCPSS IEQ Coordinator in the HCPSS Department of School Facilities monitors all school/facility teams.

Complete the IEQ Concern form to submit a concern about the indoor environmental quality of a HCPSS building or facility. The form is to be submitted to the HCPSS IEQ Coordinator by emailing it to ieq@hcpss.org. You will be contacted within 5 working days regarding your concern.
