It’s time to mark your calendars! It has been a long time since the eighth grade has been able to participate in all of our traditional eighth-grade activities. This year we are excited to announce that we will once again be able to send off our eighth graders with a couple of special activities. Please review the following dates and mark your calendars:

• June 6, 2023 - High School visit (field trip) to Glenelg High School
• June 9, 2023 - Picnic at Piney Run Park
• June 13, 2023 - 8th Grade Celebration; this includes a ceremony (9:30 am), family photo-op, student luncheon, and afternoon student social.

With approximately 172 students in the eighth-grade class, it is critical that students are on their best behavior when participating in these activities. Please take a look at our letter on student behavior expectations. If you have any questions regarding behavior expectations, please feel free to contact Mrs. Shindel, Mr. Lertora, or Mrs. Viens.
